Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling to promote independence
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
Support a positive, respectful environment for residents and families
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active certification or eligibility to be certified in Pennsylvania
Comfortable with hands-on patient care and physical demands of the role
Willingness to complete facility-required health screenings and background checks
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care principles and procedures
Ability to measure and document vital signs and patient information accurately
Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety standards
Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
