Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor patients’ conditions and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Support safe patient transfers, positioning, and ambulation
Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate clearly with the care team
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Build trusting relationships with residents and families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (active in Pennsylvania preferred)
Valid state-required immunizations and TB screening
Willingness to pass background checks and standard pre-employment screenings
Strong interpersonal skills and a caring attitude toward patients
Previous direct-care experience preferred but trainees with certification are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and vital signs monitoring
Comfortable with documentation and communicating observations clearly
Ability to follow care plans, safety procedures, and infection-control practices
Teamwork mindset and the ability to take direction from nursing staff
Time management skills to prioritize patient needs during an 8-hour shift
