Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
Support daily living activities to preserve dignity and independence
Communicate clearly with residents, families, and the care team
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Document resident care accurately in charts or electronic records

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain
High school diploma or equivalent
Comfortable with hands-on patient care and safe resident handling
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health checks
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, feeding and hygiene support
Familiarity with patient transfer techniques and safe lifting
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
Basic charting and documentation skills (paper or electronic)
Infection control and proper PPE use
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented care environment
