Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility to promote comfort and dignity
• Take and record vital signs and patient observations, communicating changes promptly to nursing staff
• Support safe and efficient patient transfers and positioning to reduce risk and improve comfort
• Maintain a clean, organized patient environment and follow infection control protocols
• Assist with feeding and hydration, and document intake as directed
• Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and families, creating a positive care experience
• Accurately document care provided and report incidents or concerns to supervising clinicians

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Active authorization to practice as a CNA in Pennsylvania preferred
• BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow facility policies and procedures

Education

• High school diploma or GED and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and patient safety practices
• Ability to perform ADLs and safe patient handling techniques
• Familiarity with infection control procedures and PPE use
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
