Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care and assistance with daily living activities
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and toileting needs
Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations
Support safe transfers and use of mobility aids to protect patients and staff
Build trusting relationships with residents and families through thoughtful communication
Help maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and safe patient transfers
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Prior experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental clinical skills for basic patient care
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Basic charting and documentation skills
Ability to follow care plans and directives from nursing staff
Strong observational skills to detect changes in patient status
Teamwork and time management in a fast-paced care environment
