Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Document care accurately and timely in resident charts and electronic records
Support safe mobility and fall-prevention practices for all patients
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team
Maintain a clean, respectful, and dignified environment for residents

Qualifications

Valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification for Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Comfortable with hands-on patient care and able to follow care plans
Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills for bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and basic resident observations
Good documentation practices and attention to detail
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to follow infection control and safety protocols
