Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support nursing staff with tasks to ensure smooth, safe patient care
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families and the care team
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Document care activities in charts or electronic records as required

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or eligible for state certification)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient mobility
Clear background check and required health screenings/vaccinations
Reliable, punctual, and ready to be part of a collaborative care team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Successful completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and basic nursing procedures
Ability to take and interpret vital signs and observe patient changes
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic documentation skills and comfort using electronic records or charts
Understanding of infection prevention and safety practices
