Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Document patient care and observations accurately and promptly
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver great care
Maintain infection control and a clean, safe environment for patients

Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or required where applicable
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB screening
Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and teamwork mindset
Reliable transportation to 900 East King Street, Lancaster, PA

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection prevention and control practices
Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
