Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and document patient condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and ambulation, always prioritizing dignity and comfort
Assist with feeding, hygiene, and restorative care to promote independence
Collaborate with the care team to follow care plans and contribute to positive outcomes
Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and families

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) active in Pennsylvania
High school diploma or GED preferred
Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
Reliable, punctual, and able to pass background and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Basic understanding of infection control and safety protocols
Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
Strong communication and teamwork skills with residents and staff
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
