Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes
Maintain clear, timely documentation in patient charts
Support safe mobility and fall prevention efforts
Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and the care team to advocate for patients
Help maintain a clean, comfortable environment that promotes dignity and recovery

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — must be valid in Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
Previous experience as a CNA is a plus, but dedicated new grads are welcome

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of basic patient care and infection control practices
Proficient in taking vitals and observing/reporting patient changes
Good charting and documentation habits
Ability to assist with safe patient transfers and mobility
Team player attitude and reliable time management
