Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and document patient conditions and report any changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility support using proper techniques
Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for patients
Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver coordinated care
Support patients with dignity and respect, promoting comfort and independence

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required)
Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Ability to follow care plans and facility policies with attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Comfort with performing physical tasks such as lifting and turning patients

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient hygiene and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
