Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents
Perform routine vital signs monitoring and promptly report changes to the care team
Assist with safe transfers and mobility, promoting independence whenever possible
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and resident conditions
Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver personalized care plans

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (state registration required; PA preferred)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Successful background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Previous long-term care or acute care experience preferred but not required

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, measuring intake/output, observing changes
Documentation and charting in resident records
Infection prevention and safe patient handling
Effective, compassionate communication with residents and families
Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with nursing staff
