Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility)
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Document care activities accurately and in a timely manner
Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents’ comfort and dignity
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state-specific) or completion of an approved nursing assistant program
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Background checks and required facility screenings (per facility policy)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Current/state CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and infection prevention practices
Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility
Accurate documentation and time-management skills
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with patient dignity, respect, and HIPAA principles
