Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on basic patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to the nursing team
Support patient comfort and dignity while assisting with activities of daily living
Communicate clearly and courteously with patients, families, and clinical staff
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Assist with patient transfers and positioning using safe body mechanics
Document care accurately and timely in the patient record

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (must be valid in Georgia)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
Physical ability to assist with patient transfers and provide direct care
Reliable, professional, and patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skill in taking and recording vital signs and observing patient condition
Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
Ability to assist with ADLs and mobility support
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic charting and documentation proficiency
Calm, empathetic approach to patient care and family interactions
