Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes promptly
Support the nursing team with timely handoffs and patient needs
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control best practices
Document care and observations thoroughly and communicate with care team and families
Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to promote comfort and safety

Qualifications

Current/state CNA certification in good standing
Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is a plus
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required per facility
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled with ADLs, patient transfers, and safe handling techniques
Accurate vital sign measurement and basic clinical observations
Strong communication and teamwork with nursing staff and families
Basic charting and familiarity with electronic or paper documentation
Dependable time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
