Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility
Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes promptly
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Support infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and teammates
Build trusting relationships with patients and families through clear, kind communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (must be valid for work in Georgia)
Basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or required per employer policy
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings/immunizations
Comfort with lifting/transferring patients and standing for extended periods
Strong teamwork mindset and reliable attendance

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed accredited CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in personal care tasks, patient hygiene, and mobility assistance
Good observational skills for recognizing changes in patient condition
Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
Familiarity with basic charting and documentation practices
Ability to follow care plans and directions from licensed nursing staff
