Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Assist with safe patient transfers and proper use of assistive devices
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean patient environment
Collaborate with nurses and the care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Communicate respectfully with patients and families to support comfort and understanding

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Active/state-recognized CNA certification in Georgia (or eligible to obtain)
Willingness and ability to work 12.5-hour shifts
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred or willingness to obtain
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
Strong communication skills and a compassionate patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed accredited CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient hygiene, ADL assistance, and safe transfer techniques
Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Infection prevention and safe handling of clinical equipment
Clear documentation and basic charting experience
Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks
Basic familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
