Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic nursing care and assist patients with daily living activities
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
Support safe and comfortable patient transfers and positioning
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team to ensure coordinated care
Document care accurately and timely to support quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state-required credential; Georgia certification preferred or eligible)
Demonstrated ability to work 12+ hour shifts and adapt to unit needs
Comfortable assisting with patient mobility and personal care
Willingness to complete background checks and facility onboarding requirements
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care procedures and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control and hand hygiene best practices
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Team collaboration and clear communication with nursing staff
