Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and support daily needs
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating)
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Document care and patient interactions clearly in the chart/EMR
Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection-control practices
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or eligible) — state certification required for clinical practice
High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient-focused attitude
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED
CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Competence in basic nursing care and ADLs
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Basic infection control and PPE usage
Familiarity with patient safety practices and fall prevention
Comfortable with electronic charting or willing to learn EMR workflows
