Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Document care in a clear and timely manner to support the care team
Support safe transfers and mobility to prevent falls and injury
Collaborate with nurses and other staff to deliver person-centered care
Maintain infection control standards and a clean, welcoming environment

Qualifications

Active CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania (required)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient care tasks
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; successful completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic patient care and infection control practices
Skill in taking and recording vital signs and observing changes
Good time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
