Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Assist with activities of daily living while promoting patient dignity and independence
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and yourself
Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care and observations
Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (expected to be valid for work in Pennsylvania)
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Ability to provide safe patient care and follow facility protocols
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Available to start on or around 2026-04-03

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADLs, patient hygiene and mobility support
Accurate documentation and charting habits
Infection control and safety best practices
Patient-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
Team collaboration and following care plans
