Shift Type: Per diem, 8-hour shifts; exact start/end times and days vary and will be confirmed by the scheduling team

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor patients and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
Help with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Support a positive patient experience through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

Current and active CNA certification in Pennsylvania
Recent experience as a CNA preferred but supportive training provided
Must be able to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on per diem shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED required; completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and interpersonal skills with a calm bedside manner
Ability to follow care plans, safety protocols, and infection control practices
Good documentation skills and clear verbal communication
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, bathing, feeding, mobility assistance
Team player mindset and willingness to learn from nursing staff
