Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and record vital signs and report any concerns to nursing staff
Support patient mobility safely, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and team members
Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, and toileting as needed
Document care accurately and promptly in accordance with facility policies

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state certification preferred)
High school diploma or GED recommended
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality patient care

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or GED (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
Basic vital signs measurement and recognition of changes in condition
Infection control procedures and safe hygiene practices
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Charting and documentation basics
Teamwork and effective communication in a clinical setting
