Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
Assist with safe transfers, repositioning, and mobility support
Maintain clear, accurate documentation of patient care and observations
Support infection control practices and help maintain a clean, safe environment
Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current, active CNA certification (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass facility background and health screenings
Strong communication and teamwork skills; a caring attitude is a must
Previous experience in long-term care or related setting preferred but not strictly required

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with vital signs, ADLs, basic patient hygiene and mobility assistance
Basic charting and documentation skills
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Ability to follow care plans and take direction from licensed nursing staff
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate care
