Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
• Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Support safe patient transfers and positioning with attention to comfort
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
• Communicate clearly with nurses, care team members, and families to coordinate care
• Document care activities and patient observations concisely and professionally

Qualifications

• Current CNA — Certified Nursing Assistant credential (state certification required)
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working night shifts and adaptable to per-diem scheduling
• Previous CNA experience is a plus and demonstrates readiness to jump in

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and active state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living
• Ability to take and interpret vital signs and recognize changes
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
• Good communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced setting
• Basic documentation skills; comfort using electronic charting or logs
