Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients in an acute care setting
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers, mobility, and fall-prevention measures
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with clinicians
Follow infection control protocols and contribute to a clean, safe environment
Collaborate closely with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
Experience in acute care settings is preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and manage physical demands of patient care
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Able to pass standard background and health screenings as required

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient hygiene, toileting, and safe transfer techniques
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
Basic clinical observation and reporting skills
Reliable time management, teamwork, and compassionate bedside manner
