Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Provide compassionate, respectful care that preserves patient dignity
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
• Support safe transfers and ambulation while following proper body mechanics
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control protocols
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
• Respond promptly to patient needs and help create a comforting atmosphere

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in-state (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and standing for extended periods
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient hygiene, mobility assistance, and toileting care
• Basic vital sign measurement and infection prevention practices
• Clear and professional communication with patients and team members
• Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
• Familiarity with charting and basic clinical documentation
