Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Sunday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (30-minute meal break)

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Take and record vital signs, and promptly report any changes in condition to the nursing team
  • Provide compassionate, respectful care and emotional support to residents and their families
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
  • Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety and comfort
  • Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassion and patience when working with elderly or rehab residents
  • Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with the care team
  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of basic patient care and safety protocols
  • Skilled in vital sign measurement and documentation
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and position residents safely
  • Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
  • Observation skills to identify changes in resident condition
  • Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
