Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs, promptly reporting changes to nursing staff
• Support residents during meals and monitor nutritional intake
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
• Collaborate with the care team to enhance each resident's quality of life

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation is a plus
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with residents, families, and team members
• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant procedures and infection control practices
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist residents for extended periods
• Empathy and patience when caring for elderly or disabled individuals
• Excellent observation skills to detect subtle changes in resident condition
