Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition promptly
Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with the nursing team
Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Participate in team huddles and follow care plans to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential valid in Pennsylvania
Ability to pass any required background checks and employment screening
Comfortable performing physical aspects of care and working as part of a team
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude
Basic life support (BLS) certification, if required by the facility

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational nursing care and patient assistance techniques
Vital sign measurement and basic patient observation
Infection control practices and proper use of PPE
Documentation basics and communicating changes to the care team
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
