Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care and support for patients’ daily living needs
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Support safe and timely patient transfers and mobility assistance
Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
Help create a comfortable, respectful environment that promotes dignity and recovery

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Active state registration or ability to obtain/transfer CNA credentials for Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfort with patient lifting/transfers and basic bedside care
Compassionate communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of personal care techniques and infection control practices
Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
Basic familiarity with patient charting and handoff communication
Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy care setting
Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail when providing direct patient care
