Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs, observe patient condition, and report changes promptly
Assist nursing staff with treatments, transfers, and safe patient mobility
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Build trusting relationships with patients and families through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as per facility policy
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Current CNA certification in good standing

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care basics and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Accurate vital signs collection and basic clinical observations
Infection control and proper use of PPE
Basic charting and comfort with electronic or paper documentation
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
