Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents in a skilled nursing and rehab center
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and behavioral changes, reporting concerns to nursing staff
• Support residents with meals, personal hygiene, and incontinence care while preserving dignity
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment and follow infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to promote quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
• Must bring a state or federal issued photo ID and wear a facility badge at all times
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination or documented religious/medical exemption
• Ability to provide patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care procedures and safety practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and vital sign monitoring
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and assist patients
