Shift Type: On-call rotation: 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 2 days per week for two weeks, then one full weekend (Friday 3:30 PM - Monday 7:00 AM) every third weekend

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and IR procedures with precision and care
• Assist physicians during interventional radiology cases, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond quickly to changes during procedures
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow strict infection control and radiation safety protocols
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide around-the-clock coverage for urgent procedures

Qualifications

• Active Radiologic Technologist license in Iowa or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current BLS certification required
• Proven experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation, including weekends
• Successful completion of Trinity competency testing and skills checklist

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology techniques
• Proficiency with imaging equipment, contrast administration, and sterile technique
• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented approach to documentation and safety
