Ultrasound Technician - Diagnostic Imaging
Location: Aberdeen, Washington
Start Date: 08-10-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shift 0645-1715, 10-hour shifts plus call rotation, varying days Sunday to Saturday; will float between sites
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular studies
- Conduct upper and lower extremity DVT studies and carotid ultrasounds
- Float between Grays Harbor Community Hospital and Imaging Center as needed
- Be available for on-call rotation and respond to urgent requests
- Ensure high-quality images and accurate documentation for physician interpretation
Qualifications
- ARDMS certification with Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential
- BLS/BCLS certification from AHA or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist
- Ability to perform vascular studies including DVT and carotid exams
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in diagnostic medical sonography
- Vascular sonography skills for upper/lower extremity and carotids
- Proficient in abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts scanning
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to adapt to different settings and patient populations
