Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients with diverse conditions
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond quickly to changes in patient status
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies
• Advocate for patients' needs and coordinate smooth care transitions

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Idaho or a compact state (NLC)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of med-surgical nursing principles and evidence-based practices
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and medication administration
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple patients
