Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients of all ages
• Take and develop dental x-rays with accuracy and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and at-home care techniques
• Partner with the dentist to assess patient needs and develop treatment plans
• Maintain a sterile, organized operatory and follow infection control protocols
• Document patient care accurately and update dental records

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work a 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM schedule
• Comfort with digital x-ray and dental software is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Skilled in patient education and motivational interviewing
• Familiarity with infection control and sterilization standards
• Proficiency in dental charting and radiography
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
