Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform routine cleanings, examinations, and periodontal therapy
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a clinical dental setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of dental software and patient record management
• Understanding of infection control protocols
• Ability to work efficiently and compassionately
