Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality dental hygiene care to every patient
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Partner with dentists to assess and treat periodontal health
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile clinical environment
• Accurately document patient histories, treatments, and care plans
• Build trusting relationships that put patients at ease

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygiene license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Prior experience in a dental hygiene clinical setting is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Commitment to maintaining infection control standards

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Understanding of patient education and preventive care techniques
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly bedside manner
• Attention to detail and a focus on safety and sterilization
