Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Support residents with meals, feeding, and hydration as needed
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment
• Document care provided accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification in Vermont
• CPR certification preferred
• Must have reliable transportation for commuting to St. Albans
• Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy and patience when working with elderly or rehab patients
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist with mobility tasks
• Basic computer skills for documentation
• Team-oriented with a can-do attitude
