Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch dental hygiene care and patient education
• Perform routine cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Capture and review dental X-rays
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Champion infection control and safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Strong attention to detail and a caring bedside manner

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene techniques and sterilization protocols
• Proficiency with dental software and patient management systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Time-management skills to handle a busy patient schedule
• Compassion and empathy when treating patients
