Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care and patient education to promote optimal oral health
• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning to maintain healthy smiles
• Assess patients' oral hygiene and collaborate with the dentist to develop personalized care plans
• Take and interpret dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure the highest standards of infection control
• Create a welcoming and comfortable environment that puts patients at ease

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin (or obtaining before start)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate and connect with patients
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental practice
• Experience with dental software and digital X-ray systems is a plus

Education

• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Current Wisconsin State Licensure as a Dental Hygienist

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency in using dental instruments and radiographic equipment
• Excellent attention to detail with patient documentation
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental team
