Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and fluoride treatments
• Educate patients on oral health, hygiene techniques, and at-home care routines
• Partner with the dentist to evaluate patient oral health and assist during procedures
• Take and develop dental X-rays while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized operatory
• Document patient care thoroughly in the dental practice management system

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin dental hygiene license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Genuine passion for helping patients achieve healthy smiles
• Great communication skills and a warm chairside manner
• Ability to work evenings from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and terminology
• Experience with digital radiography and dental practice software
• Knowledge of infection control, OSHA standards, and sterilization best practices
• Strong interpersonal and patient education skills
• Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a busy clinical environment
