Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and triage in an urgent care setting
• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care for a variety of acute conditions
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop care plans
• Educate patients and families on aftercare and health management
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Respond quickly to emergency situations as needed

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Experience in urgent care, emergency, or critical care preferred; new grads welcome to apply if strong clinical skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a per diem basis

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of urgent care protocols and procedures
• Compassionate patient-centered approach
