Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients, including cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
• Collaborate with dentists and staff to ensure a positive patient experience
• Maintain a sterile and safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care

Education

• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Knowledge of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Ability to use dental software for charting and documentation
