Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive rehabilitation.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and home exercise programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active New Hampshire state licensure or eligibility to obtain one.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with diverse patient populations.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of evidence-based assessment tools and therapeutic interventions.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) for documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Compassion and patience when working with elderly or recovering individuals.
