Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring patient safety
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment, such as ventilators and infusion pumps
• Support and educate patients and their families during their ICU stay

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of critical care nursing experience preferred
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of ICU protocols and critical care standards
• Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Compassionate and empathetic patient care approach
