Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed for patient assessments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
• Manage patient records accurately and document treatment details
• Provide outstanding support to the dental team and enhance the patient experience

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or graduation from an accredited dental assisting program
• Current X-ray certification and CPR/BLS certification
• Previous orthodontic experience is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care
• Ability to work flexible evening shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental software, including Denticon (as noted in the posting)
• Solid understanding of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and terminology
• Strong interpersonal skills for connecting with patients and teammates
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting
