Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist chairside during examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Ensure a comfortable, welcoming experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified (required)
• Prior experience as a dental assistant is essential
• Strong chairside manner and patient communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy orthodontic practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Proficient in sterilization and infection control protocols
• Comfortable using dental software and charting systems
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• A team-oriented approach with a focus on patient care
