Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients of all ages
• Take and interpret dental x-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Document patient treatment plans and medical histories accurately
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive measures
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a smooth patient flow
• Maintain strict infection control standards and sterilize instruments

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental anatomy, periodontal disease, and preventive care
• Skilled in using dental instruments and equipment
• Proficient with dental software and record-keeping
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Patient-focused with a gentle, caring demeanor
